KINGS OF BOSPOROS. Polemo I, circa 14/3-10/9 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 7.66 g, 1 h), posthumous issue, circa 8/7 BC-9/10 AD (?). Laureate head of Apollo to right within laurel wreath. Rev. Tripod with cover; to left, monogram of Polemo; to right, myrtle branch and [Δ]; to right, countermark of a head of a griffin to right within circular incuse. MacDonald 243. Rare and in exceptional condition for the issue. Good very fine.
